Siete nostalgici e all'avvio di Alone In The Dark vi ritrovate nell'iperspazio con una luce bianca ad impedirvi di reimmergervi nel paranormale?
Seguite questa semplice guida!
FASE 1
1. Andate su questo sito e scaricate l'intero pacchetto salvandolo in una cartella che chiameremo come vogliamo, io l'ho chiamata "Fix AID-TNN".
2. Estraete al suo interno l'archivio .rar appena scaricato.
3. Create una sottocartella e chiamatela "File da copiare" e estraete al suo interno il file .rar "alone4 fix eng". Dopo averlo fatto, verrà creata una cartella con lo stesso nome.
4. Tasto destro su LOC_IT.COK e cliccate su Proprietà.
5. Cancellate l'intero nome (la parte .cok soprattutto) e rinominatelo in "locale".
6. Quando avete estratto "alone4 fix eng" è stata creata una sottocartella con lo stesso nome. Copiate il file che avete chiamato "locale" e incollatelo in "File da copiare\alone4 fix eng\Provider".
7. Nella cartella "alone 4 fix eng" troverete il file .exe "alone4". Copiatelo insieme alla cartella "Provider".
8. Incollate "alone4" e la cartella "Provider" nella cartella di installazione del gioco. Nel mio caso "C:\Program Files (x86)\Infogrames\Alone in the Dark".
FASE 2
Se provaste ad avviare ora il gioco, vi si presenterebbero diversi errori provando a selezionare uno dei due personaggi.
L'errore vi si presenterà, nel caso di Carnby, come:
ERROR : Please report this to the PC developement team (press ESC to continue)
FILE NOT FOUND /LEVELS/30/CARNBY01 .
Oppure nel caso provaste ad avviarlo con Aline, vi si presenterà come qualcosa di simile a:
ERROR : Please report this to the PC developement team (press ESC to continue)
FILE NOT FOUND /LEVELS/125/ALINE02 .
Soluzione:
1. Inserite il CD2.
2. In "Risorse del Computer" o "Questo PC", entrate nel CD2 del gioco cliccando col tasto destro e poi su "apri" o "esplora".
3. Copiate la cartella "levels".
4. Incollate la cartella "levels" nella cartella di installazione, nel mio caso "C:\Program Files (x86)\Infogrames\Alone in the Dark".DIVERTITEVI!

Follow this simple guide!
STEP 1
1. Go to this site and download the whole package saving it in a folder that we will call as we want, I called it "Fix AID-TNN".
2. Extract the newly downloaded .rar archive inside.
3. Create a subfolder and call it "File to copy" and extract the .rar file "alone4 fix eng" inside it. After doing so, a folder with the same name will be created.
4. Right-click on LOC_IT.COK and click on Properties.
5. Delete the whole name (especially the .cok part) and rename it to "local".
6. When you extracted "alone4 fix eng" a subfolder with the same name was created. Copy the file you called "local" and paste it into "File to copy \ alone4 fix eng \ Provider".
7. In the "alone 4 fix eng" folder you will find the .exe "alone4" file. Copy it together with the "Provider" folder.
8. Paste "alone4" and the "Provider" folder in the game installation folder. In my case "C:\Program Files(x86)\Infogrames\Alone in the Dark".
STEP 2
If you tried to start the game now, you would get several errors trying to select one of the two characters.
The error will appear to you, in Carnby's case, as:
ERROR: Please report this to the PC developement team (press ESC to continue)
FILE NOT FOUND/LEVELS/30/CARNBY01.
Or in case you try to start it with Aline, it will look like something like:
ERROR: Please report this to the PC developement team (press ESC to continue)
FILE NOT FOUND/LEVELS/125/ALINE02.
Solution:
1. Insert CD2.
2. In "My Computer" or "This PC", enter the CD2 of the game by right clicking and then on "open" or "explore".
3. Copy the "levels" folder.
4. Paste the "levels" folder into the installation folder, in my case "C: \Program Files (x86)\Infogrames\Alone in the Dark".ENJOY!
